This Remington manufactured light weight frame (receiver) is for the model 1889 hammer double shotgun in 12 gauge and was manufactured prior to 1899. The overall condition is very good exhibiting a grayish brown patina with some scattered specks of pin prick pitting and/or rust staining. {Antique} (file photos)
